As an example characterizing the ability of EHDS to integrate and effectively participate in the operation of the turbine control system is the work done at the Karaganda CHPP-3 on the newly installed turbines T-50/60-8.8 and T-120/140-12.8-3 produced OJSC Power Machines. The turbine at the Karaganda CHPP-3 was equipped with the KRUG-2000 automated process control system. The automated process control system includes an ECSR with anti-overclocking protection, implemented both in the turbine controller and on a separate device. All projects were highly appreciated by both the Customer and the turbine manufacturer.
The ECSR project was prepared by order of OJSC Power Machines; EGP adders produced by OJSC Power Machines were used as electrohydraulic converters.
A feature of these projects is the presence of local control panels located in the turbine shop, directly next to the turbine, from where there is visual access to the actuators of the control system (servomotor, rotary diaphragm, control valves, etc.). The panels have touch monitors, selected specifically for operating conditions in the turbine shop, and have all the necessary set of indications and controls in all turbine operating modes.
