Stages of work execution
Over more than 40 years of production experience and growth in the field of industrial automation, we have developed projects for “linking” the system to many types of turbines from various manufacturers, and have well-established technology for installing EHDS. After completing the design, manufacturing, testing and delivery of equipment to the site, its installation is completed within 20-25 days, depending on the type of turbine.
Development and implementation of a turnkey EHDS includes the following stages:
- consultations on automation issues in terms of software, hardware and technological solutions
- carrying out a set of pre-design work to prepare technical specifications in accordance with GOST 34.602 (inspection of the modernization facility and development of its concept);
- Development of technical specifications for the creation of EHDS together with the Customer, using mathematical (algorithmic) and other types of software;
- design, manufacturing and timely delivery of the necessary equipment for subsequent testing before its installation on site;
- integration test with the participation of the Customer and performing an EHDCS test on a mathematical model of a steam turbine
- Supply of a set of software and hardware and field-level equipment of EHDS to the facility.
- carrying out installation and supervision works;
- comprehensive commissioning with testing after modernization and commissioning of the facility;
- training of station personnel and preparation of all necessary documentation;
- warranty service and post-warranty support of the system;
- Technical support

QTMP LLP has many years of experience in modernizing standard and outdated mechanical-hydraulic control systems for steam turbines and also has all the necessary production and engineering resources to carry out installation supervision and commissioning work during the implementation of EHDS of various levels of complexity and for various types steam turbines. During the execution of installation supervision works, QTMP specialists provide supervision and organizational and technical guidance over the supply and installation of EGSR equipment, perform general technical and technological control over the progress of work, and provide the required quality control of operations performed by the Customer’s specialists.
During the commissioning process, QTMP specialists set up and launch a complex of EHDS technical equipment, check and adjust application software, perform unit-by-unit and comprehensive testing, and ensure that the EHDS is put into trial operation.
Commissioning works are completed by carrying out tests with a reset from the full electrical load, then acceptance tests and putting the facility into commercial operation.
