Upgrading of automatic control systems
One of the main areas of production activity of our plant is the introduction of turbine electro-hydraulic control systems (ESC) to replace hydraulic (outdated) ones at energy, metallurgy, chemical and oil refining industries.
Modern ECS produced QTMP provide high-quality regulation of steam turbine parameters: rotation speed, power, steam pressure in regulated extractions, stable operation with maximum efficiency, and protective functions.
The result of EHCS implementation is:
- increasing equipment reliability;
- productivity increase;
- ease of equipment management;
- reduction of technological system failures;
- saving ACS settings regardless of turbine downtime.
- ensuring linearization of static characteristics by dismantling worn out mechanohydraulic units of the automatic control system and implementing their functions in the turbine controller;

- reduction in maintenance and repair costs and, as a result, reduction in the cost of production of electrical and thermal energy.
- ensuring possible connection of the turbine control process with the automatic control system, telemechanics systems and automated process control systems in automatic mode.
Taking into account modern requirements for heating equipment, the plant proposes to introduce ECS of its own production, which are designed and manufactured both for currently operating turbines of power plants, turbocompressors of CHPP-TBS, and at the request of turbine manufacturers.
Currently, the production capabilities of the plant allow us to quickly develop, manufacture and implement an automatic turbine control system based on controllers, for example, as a Kazakh manufacturer - the TREI company, and foreign Siemens, Emerson, etc. As KTMP drives can offer both electro-hydraulic converters of its own production, which have proven to be extremely reliable components, and linear actuators such as Exlar, Diakont and EGP-Adders manufactured by LMP.
When carrying out automation work, along with our own equipment, we offer equipment from well-known global manufacturers, such as Jaquet AG, Honeywell, Balluff, Siemens, etc.
