History and up-to-dateness
The Qaragandy Turbomechanical Plant dates its history back to 1993 and owes its creation to the energy restructuring that began due to the collapse of the USSR, as well as the urgent needs for electricity market in Kazakhstan, and other countries at that time.
The plant was geographically organized on the basis of the regional industrial repair enterprise. Despite the difficult times and rapid deterioration in the country’s economic situation, it was retrofitted with necessary tightly scheduled machine tools and bench equipment, uniting the best energy repair and power engineering specialists with high qualifications, knowledge and experience in the power field under its auspices.
Stable and long-term relations with design, research, and power engineering enterprises, including turbine manufacturing plants, as well as numerous common projects implemented with them, allow the plant to maintain its production at a high, competitive level and continuously increase its technological and production capabilities.
Currently, the plant has sufficient experience and is capable of performing a full range of works related to repair, installation, design, maintenance, modernization, commissioning of turbine and electrical main and auxiliary equipment of power plants’ turbine shops, turbochargers of industrial enterprises and other rotating equipment. The work on turnkey industrial and factory repairs of the main parts of various types turbines and generators, including rotors, cylinders, diaphragms, heat exchangers, control units, etc. is carried out at the production base in Qaragandy
For the benefit of regional customers, the plant has mastered manufacture of a wide range of spare parts, including turbine rotors, control units, auxiliary turbine equipment, etc.
The plant is equipped with necessary machinery, overhead traveling cranes, balancing machines, benches, power-operated equipment, devices and specialized shops to ensure the proper quality of manufactured equipment, services provided and optimization of labor costs.
The plant has all the necessary permits, certificates and licenses to carry out its production activities in Kazakhstan, and Europe.
